Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the STRIFTEROI application for iOS and Android mobile devices. The STRIFTEROI application is an application of an entertainment and social nature, developed and operated by Apostolos Tselepis (Sole Proprietorship), Tax ID (ΑΦΜ): 157813781, GEMI Reg. No.: 168474144000, Mitropoleos 14, Thessaloniki 54624, Greece. The application is provided free of charge in its core features, with an optional premium subscription (STRIFTEROI PRO) that unlocks additional features (see article 7c). It does not provide professional driving, transport, escort, or event organization services. For contact: strifteroi@gmail.com.

By creating an account and expressly accepting during registration, you fully and unconditionally accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you disagree, please do not use the application.

0. Nature of the Application & Disclaimer of Liability

The STRIFTEROI application is exclusively a social networking platform and an entertainment tool. It does not organize, does not supervise, does not coordinate and does not participate in any way in the rides, solo or group, that are created or facilitated through it.

Every ride created through the application constitutes a private activity of the respective user, who acts as an independent individual and bears sole and full responsibility for himself and his actions. STRIFTEROI is not an organizer, co-organizer, principal, or representative of any activity.

STRIFTEROI expressly and fully disclaims any liability — civil, criminal, or otherwise — for road accidents, injuries, deaths, or material damages arising during or in connection with rides organized or found through the application, for violations of legislation by users, for the behavior of users inside or outside the application, for GPS malfunctions, and for any other incident connected, directly or indirectly, with the use of the application.

Each user expressly accepts that riding a motorcycle involves inherent risks, and that the use of the application does not reduce, modify, or transfer these risks.

0.1 Purpose & Nature of the Application

The STRIFTEROI application is provided exclusively for entertainment, social, and informational purposes. Specifically:

• It is not a professional driving, transport, or escort service
• It is not an official organizer of events, gatherings, or rides
• It is not a security, emergency, or rescue system
• It does not provide professional driving advice, or legal, insurance, or technical advice
• It does not guarantee the safe completion of any activity organized through it
• It does not verify the identity, abilities, behavior, or intentions of users

0.2 Assumption of Risk

Participation in activities organized or facilitated through the application — including rides, meetups, sales, and communication — takes place with full assumption of risk and the sole responsibility of the user. Each user acknowledges that:

• Riding a motorcycle involves inherent risks that no application can prevent
• Meetings and interactions with other users in the real world take place at his own sole responsibility
• The statistics and measurements (lean angle, G-force, speed) are of an exclusively entertainment and informational nature — they do not constitute certified or professional measurements
• The application is merely a tool for connecting users and bears no responsibility for anything that happens inside or outside of it

0.3 No Legal Relationship is Created

The use of the application does not create any relationship of mandate, representation, employment, partnership, or any other legal relationship between STRIFTEROI and the users, or between the users themselves. Users always act as independent individuals.

0.4 Verification of User Identity

STRIFTEROI does not independently verify the identity, age, or driving licenses of users. The information declared by users (name, photo, experience) is not subject to independent verification. In certain cases, STRIFTEROI may award a verification (verified) badge to accounts based on internal criteria, without this constituting a guarantee of identity or reliability. Users are called upon to exercise judgment before any physical meeting with unknown persons through the application.

Specifically, the application cannot guarantee that:

• Users are who they claim to be
• Users hold a valid driving license or appropriate experience
• Users act with good intentions or in accordance with these Terms
• The content published by users is true

0.5 Malfunctions & Technical Interruptions

The application, as a digital product, may present malfunctions, interruptions, errors, or inaccurate results. Specifically:

• GPS may lose signal or present inaccuracy — do not rely exclusively on the application for navigation or safety
• Live location sharing may be delayed or interrupted due to a poor connection
• Notifications (SOS, messages, invitations) may be delayed or not delivered
• Ride statistics (lean angle, G-force, speed) are based on mobile sensors and may be inaccurate
• Reminders (insurance, roadworthiness test, service) are provided as an aid only

In no scenario of malfunction or interruption does STRIFTEROI bear any responsibility for consequences that may arise. The application must not be used as the sole means of communication, navigation, or safety.

1. Description of Service

The STRIFTEROI application is a social networking platform exclusively for motorcycle riders in Greece, providing the following services:

• Group rides: Creation, search, and participation in shared rides with live location sharing
• Solo rides: Recording of GPS route, statistics (speed, distance, time), and G-force
• Explore / Shared Routes: Sharing of completed routes with the community for public viewing by other users
• Garage: Motorcycle tracking, reminders for insurance, roadworthiness test, and service
• Social features: Friends, user ratings, direct messages, city channels, post feed, and 24-hour stories
• Voice Chat: Live hands-free voice communication between participants in a group ride, as well as separate voice rooms within the "Chat" feature
• Forum (Chat): Discussion rooms by category and city channels for exchanging opinions
• Meetups & Events: Creation and search of events / meetups (bike nights, café meets, community events) with an RSVP system and group chat
• Live Watch: The ability to share a link or code so that loved ones can see your location in real time during an active ride
• Marketplace: Listings for the sale of motorcycles, gear, spare parts, and accessories between users
• Clubs: Creation of and participation in user groups with group chat and member management
• Speed cameras: Map with fixed, publicly known speed cameras (including permanent AI cameras) for information and safe driving (see article 7d)
• Member Giveaways: Optional contests with prizes for members of the community (see article 7e)
• STRIFTEROI PRO: Optional premium subscription that unlocks additional features (see article 7c)
• Block System: The ability to mutually block other users — blocked users cease to be visible in every feature
• Emergency: Quick access to emergency numbers

2. Conditions of Use & Registration

2.1 Conditions

By creating an account you declare and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and that you have the legal capacity to be bound by these Terms. The service is not intended for minors. If it is established that a user is a minor, their account is removed immediately and their data is deleted (see Privacy Policy, Section 13).

• To be at least 18 years old
• To hold a valid motorcycle driving license or to use the application exclusively as an observer
• To provide accurate and true information during registration
• To have an active Google account or Apple ID

2.2 One Account per User

Each natural person is permitted to maintain only one account. The creation of multiple accounts or the representation of another person is prohibited.

2.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for every activity carried out through your account.

3. User Obligations & Code of Conduct

By using the application you undertake the following obligations:

• Compliance with the Greek Highway Code (Law 2696/1999) and every applicable law
• Not using the application while driving — place the phone in a mount or ask a passenger to operate the application
• Respect for other users — harassment, threats, racist or offensive content are prohibited
• Provision of accurate information in the profile, in rides, and in listings
• Not publishing content that encourages dangerous, illegal, or accident-prone driving
• No data mining, no automated access, no reverse engineering of the application
• Not using the application to send spam or advertising content without permission
• Voice chat: Use exclusively hands-free (helmet handsfree / intercom / bluetooth device). Respect for the other participants — offensive speech, harassment, threats, racist or abusive expressions are prohibited. The non-consensual recording of other users' voices by external means is prohibited.

3b. Prohibited Actions — Promotion of External Communities

The use of the STRIFTEROI platform for any of the following actions is expressly prohibited:

• Promotion of external groups, communities, or platforms of a competing or similar nature (e.g. Facebook groups, WhatsApp, other applications)
• Sending unsolicited messages (spam) to users for the purpose of attracting them to external groups or services
• Use of the contact details or profile of other users for purposes outside the platform
• Any systematic action aimed at undermining, weakening, or exploiting the STRIFTEROI community for the benefit of a third-party platform or service

Violation of this article constitutes grounds for immediate and permanent removal of access from the platform, without warning.

4. GPS, Location, Sensors & Usage Data

4.1 Collection of GPS Data

During an active ride, the application records GPS points (latitude, longitude, speed, direction) and sensor data (accelerometer, gyroscope) for the calculation of lean angle and G-force. This data is stored on our servers.

4.2 Live Location Sharing

In group rides, your live location is shared in real time exclusively with the other participants of the same ride. Sharing stops automatically at the end of the ride.

If you choose to create a public link or tracking code ("Live Watch" feature), your real-time position becomes visible to anyone who has the link or code, not only to your friends, without needing to log in to the application. You are solely responsible for whom you share the link with, and you can stop sharing at any time. Tracking another person's position without their consent is prohibited.

The precise location is collected in the background as well (with a locked screen or the application in the background) during an active ride or live watch, through a service with a persistent notification, and stops as soon as you end the ride.

4.3 Route Sharing (Explore)

If the user chooses to share a completed route through the Explore feature, the GPS data of that particular route (points, statistics) becomes visible to the community of application users. This sharing is always voluntary and takes place exclusively through the action of the user. The user bears sole responsibility for the data they choose to share publicly.

4.4 Usage Analytics Data

The application collects anonymous or pseudonymized data regarding how its features are used (e.g. time spent in each section), exclusively for the purpose of improving the user experience. This data is not shared with third parties and is not used for commercial purposes. The application also uses diagnostic analytics services to identify errors and improve stability.

4.5 Accuracy

GPS data depends on the quality of the device's signal reception. We do not guarantee absolute measurement accuracy. The statistics (lean angle, G-force) are provided as entertainment/informational indications and do not constitute official/certified measurements.

5. Safety & Disclaimer of Liability for Rides

STRIFTEROI does not organize, does not supervise, does not coordinate, does not participate, and bears no responsibility — civil, criminal, or otherwise — for rides created or found through the application. Every ride is a private activity of users acting as independent individuals. The application is only a technical means of connecting people.

5.1 Individual Responsibility of the Rider

Each user assumes full, sole, and non-transferable responsibility for:

• The safe and lawful riding of his motorcycle on every ride
• The use of appropriate protective equipment (helmet, gloves, boots, protective clothing)
• The technical condition, insurance, and legality of his motorcycle
• Compliance with traffic rules
• The assessment of his own limits, abilities, and state of health
• Any damages to third parties that may be caused during the ride

5.2 Role of the Ride Creator

The user who creates a group ride acts exclusively as an individual and in no case as a representative, agent, or partner of STRIFTEROI. The application has no knowledge, control, or supervision over the route or conditions of the ride, does not approve any ride, and bears no responsibility for the acts or omissions of the creator or the participants. The ride creator and each participant bear sole responsibility for any accident, injury, death, or damage that may arise.

5.3 Anonymous & Impossible Checks

The application cannot ascertain the driving experience, abilities, state of health, or intentions of participants in rides. Each user is solely responsible for assessing their suitability before participating in any ride.

5.4 SOS & Safety Features

The application has an SOS feature and strong-impact (g-force) alerts. Upon activating SOS, your live position is revealed to the participants of the ride and/or sent via SMS to the emergency contact you have selected.

STRIFTEROI is NOT an emergency service. The SOS feature and impact alerts may not work, may be delayed, or may not receive any response, and do not in any case substitute for calling the official emergency services (112). In a real emergency, call 112 immediately. STRIFTEROI bears no responsibility for any failure, delay, or non-delivery of an SOS alert. The lean/g-force statistics are provided exclusively for entertainment and do not constitute safety or precision instruments.

6. Garage & Motorcycle Data

The Garage feature allows the storage of motorcycle data such as registration number (license plate), insurance and roadworthiness test dates. This data:

• Is stored exclusively in your account and is not displayed publicly
• Is used exclusively for personal reminders of insurance/roadworthiness test expiry
• Is not shared with other users or third parties
• Is optional — the application works normally without it

7. Marketplace

7.1 Role of the Application

The STRIFTEROI application operates exclusively as a connection platform for buyers and sellers. We are not a party to any transaction and do not guarantee the completion, quality, or legality of any product.

7.2 Seller Obligations

• Accurate, true, and complete description of the product
• Real photographs without editing that conceals damage
• Fair and realistic price
• Immediate notification in case of sale
• The posting of stolen, illegal, or counterfeit products is prohibited

7.3 Buyer Obligations

• Verification of the vehicle's condition before purchase (roadworthiness test, insurance, history)
• Checking the legality of the vehicle (chassis number, ownership)
• Conducting the transaction at their own responsibility

7.4 Disclaimer

The STRIFTEROI application disclaims any liability for disputes between buyers and sellers, for third-party fraud, or for defective products sold through the platform.

7b. Advertisements & Sponsored Content

The STRIFTEROI application displays advertisements and sponsored content from partner businesses. Regarding this:

• Transparency: Every advertisement or sponsored post bears a clear "Sponsored" / "Χορηγούμενο" label or appears in specifically distinct areas (banners, Offers section).
• Advertiser Responsibility: The respective advertiser is solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and quality of the products or services advertised. STRIFTEROI does not evaluate, approve, or guarantee the content of advertisements.
• Interaction with advertisements: When you click on an advertisement and are redirected to an external website or store, the continuation of the experience is subject to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy of the third-party provider. STRIFTEROI bears no responsibility for transactions completed outside the application.
• Reporting inappropriate advertising: If you find an advertisement that you consider misleading, illegal, or inappropriate, contact strifteroi@gmail.com.

7c. STRIFTEROI PRO Subscription

The application is provided free of charge in its core features. In parallel, an optional paid subscription is offered, STRIFTEROI PRO, which unlocks additional features. The purchase of the subscription is entirely optional.

• Price & billing: The PRO subscription currently costs €4.99 per month (VAT included). The applicable price is always displayed clearly within the application and in the App Store or Google Play before each purchase. Billing is carried out through your Apple ID or Google account and not directly by us.
• Seller of the subscription: The seller of the subscription (merchant of record) is the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google). The purchase contract is concluded between you and the store, which keeps the billing details; we do not receive card details.
• Restore purchases (Restore): If you change or reinstall your device, you can restore an active subscription through the "Restore purchases" option, using the store account with which the original purchase was made, without a new charge.
• Automatic renewal: The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (e.g. monthly), unless automatic renewal is disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Management & cancellation: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from the subscription settings of the App Store or Google Play. Cancellation takes effect from the end of the current billing period, without a retroactive refund for the current period.
• Refunds: Refunds are governed exclusively by the policies of Apple and Google. Since we do not directly manage payments, any refund requests are submitted to the respective store.
• Right of withdrawal (EU): As a consumer in the EU you have, in principle, a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital content. However, upon the immediate activation of the subscription and your express consent, you acknowledge that the provision begins immediately and that you lose the right of withdrawal from the moment the service is fully activated, to the extent permitted by the store.
• Non-waivable rights: Notwithstanding the above, you retain the non-waivable digital content conformity rights granted to you by mandatory consumer protection law (Directive (EU) 2019/770 and Greek legislation), where the PRO service presents a lack of conformity.
• Features that remain free: The safety and emergency features (SOS), as well as participation in rides, always remain free and do not require a subscription.
• Changes: We reserve the right to modify the price or content of the PRO subscription. For material changes, you will be informed in advance, any price increase requires your consent where required by the store, and price changes do not affect the current, already-paid period.

7c.1 Special Terms for Apple devices

For users of Apple devices, the following additionally apply, as required by Apple:

• These Terms are concluded between you and STRIFTEROI, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the application or its content.
• Apple has no obligation whatsoever to maintain or support the application.
• In the event that the application does not conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of any purchase price; beyond that, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the application (product liability, non-compliance with legal requirements, consumer protection) nor for third-party claims of infringement of intellectual property rights.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and are entitled to invoke them against you.
• You declare that you are not located in a country under a U.S. embargo or on a list of prohibited parties, and that you comply with the applicable export control rules.

7d. Speed Cameras

The "Cameras" feature displays on a map exclusively fixed, publicly known speed-recording cameras (including permanent AI cameras) installed on public roads. The purpose of the feature is information and safe driving (reduction of speed, prevention of violations), and not the avoidance of penalties.

• Marking the positions of police checkpoints (roadblocks) or mobile checks is expressly prohibited. Such an action may constitute obstruction of the work of a police authority and may entail criminal penalties against the user.
• The cameras registered by users are subject to review and approval by our team before they appear publicly on the map.
• Users who register police checkpoint positions (roadblocks) are blocked immediately and permanently from the application.
• STRIFTEROI does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the camera data and bears no responsibility for content posted by users in violation of the above. Sole responsibility lies with the respective user.

7e. Member Contests & Draws (Giveaways)

From time to time, STRIFTEROI may organize contests or draws with prizes for members of the community. Regarding this:

• The contests do not constitute gambling. Participation does not require a monetary fee. Certain contests may require a specific member status (e.g. PRO or OG), without, however, an additional charge specifically for participation.
• The specific terms of each contest (conditions of participation, duration, method of selecting the winner, description of the prize) are announced in the respective contest within the application.
• The selection of the winner is carried out in the manner specified per contest. The winner is notified within the application or via email.
• Any tax obligations on the prizes are borne by the winner, where this is provided for by law.
• Certain prizes may be provided by partner businesses (sponsors). Responsibility for the delivery and quality of the prize is borne by the respective sponsor where applicable.
• STRIFTEROI reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel any contest for technical or legal reasons, or in the event of established abuse or fraud.

8. User Content

8.1 Ownership

You retain the intellectual property rights to the content you publish (photos, videos, stories, texts, comments, listings, reviews, messages).

8.2 License of Use

By publishing, you grant STRIFTEROI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content within the service, exclusively for its operation and improvement. This license applies to all types of content you publish (feed photos, videos, stories, comments, listing photos, reviews).

8.2a Moderation & Reports

Content moderation takes place following user reports and not through automatic preventive checking. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms. Reviews are, as a rule, permanent and non-editable by the user, so that their reliability is preserved; STRIFTEROI may remove reviews that violate the rules.

8.3 Prohibited Content

The publication of content that is strictly prohibited if it:

• Is illegal, offensive, racist, threatening, or harassing
• Infringes the intellectual property rights of third parties
• Constitutes spam or contains malicious links
• Encourages or glorifies dangerous, illegal, or criminal driving
• Publishes the personal data of third parties without consent
• Contains sexual, violent, or degrading content

9. Chat, Voice Communication & Communication in general

9.1 Written messages

Messages between users (direct messages, ride group chat, city channels, forum rooms, meetup chat) are stored on the application's servers. End-to-end encryption is not applied. It is recommended not to share sensitive personal information (home address, financial details, passwords) through the application.

9.2 Voice Communication (Voice Chat)

The application offers live voice communication in group rides and in voice rooms ("Chat"). Regarding the service:

• The audio stream is transferred encrypted in real time through external cloud infrastructure (see recipients in the Privacy Policy)
• Audio or a transcript IS NOT recorded and IS NOT stored on our servers
• The connection is made only by the express action of the user, requires microphone permission, and the microphone is muted by default
• During a ride, the audio may remain active in the background, through a service with a persistent notification, so that communication continues with a locked screen
• The user can disconnect at any time or revoke the microphone permission from the device settings

Obligations of voice chat users:

• Use exclusively hands-free while driving
• Respect — prohibition of offensive language, harassment, or threats
• Prohibition of non-consensual external recording of other users' voices
• Prohibition of use for the distribution of illegal or inappropriate content

9.3 General rules

STRIFTEROI bears no responsibility for damages arising from communication or relationships developed through the platform. The use of any communication channel (written or voice) is prohibited for:

• Harassment, intimidation, or threats
• Sending unsolicited commercial messages
• Distribution of illegal content
• Promotion of external groups or services (see article 3b)

Block System: Each user may block other users, fully and mutually cutting off any possibility of interaction through the application.

10. Notifications (Push Notifications)

The application sends notifications for: new rides, messages, friend requests, invitations, SOS reports, and reminders (insurance, roadworthiness test, service). You can manage or disable notifications from the application Settings.

11. Intellectual Property

The logo, design, code, texts, and every other element of the STRIFTEROI application constitute the intellectual property of STRIFTEROI. The copying, reproduction, modification, or commercial exploitation without express written permission is strictly prohibited.

12. Suspension & Termination of Account

We reserve the right to immediately suspend or permanently delete an account in the event of:

• Violation of any of these Terms
• Illegal activity or fraud
• Repeated reports from other users
• Abuse or external attack on the service (DoS, scraping, etc.)
• Provision of false information during registration

The blocking (ban) or deletion of an account entails the automatic removal of the posts, listings, active rides, and other content of the user, without a refund of any subscription beyond what the store policies (Apple/Google) provide for.

To delete your own account, you can use the corresponding option in the application Settings or send a request to strifteroi@gmail.com. Upon deletion, your personal data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

13. Service Availability

We provide the service "as is" without any guarantee of continuous availability. We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently discontinue operation for reasons of maintenance, upgrading, or force majeure, without any obligation of compensation.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, STRIFTEROI disclaims any liability for:

• Accidents, injuries, or deaths during or in connection with rides organized through the application
• Any incident during real meetings or activities facilitated through the application
• Acts, omissions, behavior, or intentions of other users inside or outside the application
• Damages, bodily harm, or financial losses arising from interactions between users
• Loss or destruction of user data
• Interruption or malfunction of the service
• Inaccurate GPS information or statistics
• Use of the entertainment data (lean angle, G-force, speed) as a basis for decision-making
• Marketplace transactions between users
• Interference or attacks by third parties on user data
• Any damage or harm arising, directly or indirectly, from the use or inability to use the application

14.1 Maximum Limit of Compensation

The STRIFTEROI application is provided free of charge in its core features, with an optional premium subscription (STRIFTEROI PRO). To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the total liability of STRIFTEROI towards any user, for any cause, does not exceed the total amount that the particular user may have paid for a subscription during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the liability. For users who have paid no amount, this limit is zero euros (€0). The above limitation does not affect rights that may not be excluded under mandatory consumer protection law.

14.2 Disclaimer of Warranties

The application is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. STRIFTEROI does not guarantee that the application will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or fit for a particular purpose.

15. Third-Party Services

The application relies on third-party provider services for cloud infrastructure and storage, user authentication, push notifications, diagnostics, mapping services, live voice communication infrastructure, as well as for the processing of subscription payments (Apple's App Store and Google's Google Play). These services are governed by their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies and are selected on the criterion of compliance with the GDPR. We bear no responsibility for any problems attributable to them.

16. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, users will be notified via push notification or email, and the application will request express acceptance anew. Continued use after new Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of them.

17. Applicable Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by Greek Law and the legislation of the European Union. For any dispute, the courts of Thessaloniki are designated as competent; as a consumer, however, you retain the mandatory-law right to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence within the EU.

Before any legal action, out-of-court resolution through contact at strifteroi@gmail.com is encouraged. You may also address the Hellenic Consumer Ombudsman (synigoroskatanaloti.gr) and the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) Platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
